Working with Abby has transformed how I think about movement, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Before, I felt like there were certain movements that were off-limits to me because some body part or joint would hurt… but she showed me that with the right training, just about anything is possible. I no longer have those pains, and on top of the physical progress I’ve made since starting to train with Abby, I also notice I’m thinking differently and much more positively about being active. She always meets me where I am on a given day in terms of energy level, muscle groups I want to work on, and always has the perfect stretch or modification ready if I need an adjustment. “Abby Maroko is a Personal Trainer at Impact. I’m a Pickleball Player. I first met her when I participated in her Wednesday Pickleball Fitness Class and realized how tailored it was to this particular sport. However, I also turned to her when I needed help regaining skill and strength after a non-sport related concussion in March. She made sure to ask important questions and take thorough notes to address my concerns and goals. She is an excellent communicator and is always on time and professional.
I also appreciate the fact that she is able to perform all of the exercises that she will ask me to do. She will take the time to show proper form and can do them side by side if needed.
